Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana PMJAY Logo Launched

Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY) Logo has been launched by Union Health Minister JP Nadda. This logo has been launched for Ayushman Bharat-National Health Protection Scheme. A few days ago PM Narendra Modi launched Ayushman bharat yojana to covered health insurance to the poor people across the stats.

Currently online application not available for this scheme, it will be soon available from  25 September 2018. In terms of Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana Logo, there would be a QR code in each letter through which beneficiaries would be identified as Nadda informed. 

As per find information, Online application will be start from 25th September 2018 during the birth of anniversary of RSS ideologue Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay. 

Main Objective of Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana PMJAY

Under this scheme, The central government will cover about 10.74 crore Poor/BPL families. In addition, people will also avail to get up to Rs. 5 lakh health insurance.

  1. The funding for the scheme will be shared – 60:40 for all states and UTs with their own legislature, 90:10 in NE states and the three Himalayan states of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal and Uttarakhand and 100 per cent Central funding for UTs without a legislature.
  2. Initially, states such as West Bengal, Delhi, Odisha, Punjab and Karnataka had made noises about opting out.
  3. The PMJAY scheme will have set guidelines for pre-authorisation and the process will be mandatory for 636 of the 1,350 packages offered.
  4. Rs 5 lakh health insurance and assurance scheme will cover about 10.74 crore poor and vulnerable families as listed in the socio-economic caste census data.

Under Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana PMJAY, the cost of diagnostic procedures, drugs administered three days before admission and two days after would also be covered. “Treatment at government hospitals is free but there are fees that are charged. That will be covered under the scheme.”

  1. UPBEB will release UPTET Admit Card in online mode for the applicants who have successfully submitted they’re filled in the application form. The UPTET Admit Card shall not be released for such applicants who will submit the application form with incomplete/incorrect details.
